Daily Journal Continued November 14,1998, By William Thomas Thompson The day of the Lord is near, let us recognize Him now. All of the people living in the world tried to get onboard Noah's boat soon after it started to rain. The fun making was over. Noah obeyed God to build the ark to save himself, his family and all of the animals that God had created. Today is like the days of Noah. Wickedness rules in the world today and mens hearts are hardened against God and mankind. The judgement of God is sure. Only those humble people poor and lowly will survive. Money stand in the way of most or the love thereof. I consider the world too far gone to save. We must prepare for the end. The so called church has fail-ed;. The government has failed. The Gospel has not failed but the people have failed to spread the word. The Word of God is like it is secret and we the people are boundup in a tradition of service to the statues and not to the Lord God and creator of life in us. We go by faith with God's speed and for a safe journey abroad. It is raining hard all day and preparing for this trip to Europe is a bigger deal than I thought. Its like a thousand things to do to be ready. How do I know when I am ready? It appears war is ine-vitable,I had the film of the trailer I painted in Melbourne,Flo-rida developed and it looks great. The clock is ticking down now to the finish line when we will roll out of here with every thing done that needs to be done for 10days anticipated and with all of the things on board that we need for the trip for comfort and for safety. My tooth brush and colgate regular toothpaste is first,is most on my list plus dental floss and vasoline for my drylips and hands. No hat is permitted on this trip so I must have a stocking cap to go with my new allweather coat. I happened to get my shoes shined to look good and new heels put on here intown today in all the rain. Everything must fit in the time left and before the st- ores close, the two extra cans of spanish peanuts are purchased at the Winn-Dixie Store with 25 rolls of film. We are taking a video camera and my canon automatic 35mm camera. Now the socksandshirts and all the clean underwear to fill the two cases without any sp-ace to spare. We are both rushing down to the wire to do all this we could not hire. This is like preparing ones self to leave this world. All little matters must be attended to and still we need a rest,a minute or so. This trip is for me and my art,I have a feel that is apart of my need to see the work of the masters firsthand that I may know where I stand. And then there is the metricsystem that I have not ever understood, why we spend a lifetime toeducate on a system that makes no sense,it is surely apart of the united- ing of Europe that I must see first hand, the application of Bible prophecy to the world today. Everything I see tells me the end is near. I wish we had a thousandyears to live and to witness and to praise Him. Well actually,we do. But this old world is determined to destroy itself here and now. May God save us and spare us from the awfulending that fits us like a glove in the last book of the Bible. A mention of the "little book" in Revelation 10-2, "and he (the angel)had in his hand a littlebook open:and he set his right foot upon the sea,and his left foot upon the earth," "3-And cried with a loud voice,as when a lion roareth,"6-"...That there should be time no longer." Let us all listen to the voice of the Lord as He speaks to us in His HolyWord and in the Holy Spirit of our God
